Well its been awhile and I suppose that I should update. I've had a fairly eventful weekend that has winded me sitting here with a painful sunburn and wanting to sleep.
I picked my nephew Dylan up on Saturday to babysit. I ended up taking him to the legislative grounds with Heather and Liz. Heather and I had a splashing war and both ended up completely soaked to the bone. It was fun and really much needed as it was thirty degrees out. Then we spent an hour or so walking around the grounds attempting to dry off and waiting for my car to cool down.
It overheated really badly on the drive there. Apparently it doesn't like to idle in the heat. Silly car. I was talking with mom and she says that if I pay for her insurance then I can keep the car. Wu hoo. Now I just need to come up with three hundred dollars.
I went to the lake on Sunday. A whole bunch of us went out and I think probably all of us came home with sunburns. My shoulders and back are a beautiful shade of red.
I then got home and was getting Dylans stuff ready to go home when I called his mom. Melissa lives at home with my parents and was pissed right off cause Brad was being a shit. We all thought that he was trying and doing good but in the last three weeks he has been displaying signs of the way he used to be.
He tried to forge on of Kens checks at money mart. Well money mart called Ken and asked if they should press charges. Ken said no and then a whole wack of stuff has been going on lately. So I had to rush to my parents house so that he wasn't left in the house alone. Well not ten minutes after I get there does Mom and Ken show up. They were supposed to be driving to Calgary for a family visit. Man were they ever pissed off and rightly so. So after talking to Brad for what seemed like ever we went to dinner. Mmmm chinese food. Then I came home. I don't like staying at my parents house unless I absolutley have to. I would much rather sleep in my own bed.
So that was my weekend. I am now sitting here wishing that I could throw my bra out the window and lay in bed naked. Only a million more hours until I can do that. Lets hope today goes quickly.
