Well my big trip to Vancouver is now over and I can tell you all about it.
We left my house at 5:00am to catch our flight. I had a bit of a problem with my paycheck this week and had to head to St. Albert as I didn't get paid when I should have. They claim it had to do with those power outages in Toronto but I think they were just late in putting them in. Anyways I went to St. Albert to borrow money from my mom. Then I headed out to the airport.
Our flight was really good. WestJet is always good. We were there around 8:30am so our hotel wasn't ready yet. We dropped our bags off and we went walking around. I am fairly sure everyone in Vancouver has a dog. Then we got our room had a quick nap and then headed to Stanley Park for the day. We did the horse carriage ride around the park. It was alright. Not really worth $20.00 but it wasn't bad. The girl doing the tour was really informative and nice. Just not twenty dollars worth. It was nice to sit for a bit though. Then we went to the aquarium. They let us in for free. YAY. That was pretty fantastic. You can't bet getting in for free. That evened out the price for the horse ride.
We were back at our hotel by about six and I basically ate dinner and then crashed. I was asleep by 9pm. Big partier I am I know.
Then we headed out to the island to visit Nicoles family. That took all day but the ferry ride was nice and we got a good homecooked meal out of the deal so it was good. It was another long day though. We didn't get to the hotel until midnight. Hee Hee. Nicole broke their tongs. It was funny.
Yesterday after sleeping in we headed to the PNE. Its very much like K-days out here but it was fun. We spent way to much money on winning those little flower things. Nicole even went on the rides with me. YAY for Nicole. She even went on one that turned her upside down.
The flight home was really good. We were on one of WestJets newer planes. Such a nice plane. Leather seats and everything.
Now I am back at work and very very tired. Very tired. I woke up with a migraine this morning and immediatly took three advil. They really arn't doing much of anything. They have duller the pain a bit but not much. Now I have a super bad headache and can barely keep my eyes open. Maybe I will go home early. Probably not though.
Well I should go and do some work. I hope everyone had a good weekend.
