you know what pissed me off. listening to excuses that you know arn't true. take last night for example.
i had a candle party that i invited everyone to work from. everyone. they knew months in advance. i sent and email before i left and one when i got back. here are the excuses that i have heard of why no one came,
1) oh i'm sorry i forgot and have made other plans. i feel really bad.
first off if you forgot then fine but if you actually felt bad you would have cancelled the other plans when you realized that you had previous plans.
2)i have an appointment. when asked if it was important she said yes.
i found out that this appointment was to get her arms waxed. something she could have easily booked for any other night.
3)oh my friend showed up at the last minute and asked that i watch her kid.
while this may be true i just don't beleive it.
why can people not just come out and say right from the start, hey you know what i really don't like going to those things. sorry.
then i wouldn't have had one. but people in this world have no balls and i really am just tired of it. they piss me off.
otherwise the candle party was nice. it was nice to have people over and see my friends as i havn't seen them in awhile.
