I had the crappiest sleep last night. I have no idea why either. I just couldn't sleep. My parents came home from the casino around 1am and made more noise then Dylan usually does. So they woke me up and I just couldn't fall back asleep. I even turned on the heating pad to try and help but that didn't work either. Bah, noisy parents.
My easter was pretty good. It was the very first easter that I did not spend with my family. I went with Steve to his farm in Evansburg. It was an interesting day. The weekend was pretty good though.
Jenn came down and I got to play with the baby. That kid is ginormous. She's huge, but very cute. Then we girls ditched them boys and went to the bar. As per usual I was the first one to leave. I get tired way to quickly. I don't think that it helped that I worked that day too. Who knows. I wussed out and had Steve pick me up at around midnight.
We got to his house and I just crashed. Poor Steve I am sure he was hoping I was the horny drunk girl instead of the incredibly tired drunk girl. Sounds like the rest of them had a blast though. Jenn is always a good time when she is drinking.
Then on Friday Steve and I lounged around and then went and purchased some electronics from Future Shop. It was only slightly boring for me but I made the best of it by playing with all the buttons they let you push. I also used my credit card and purchased some new jeans from Thriftys. It was a much needed purchase as my other jeans had a giant hole in the crotch.
I worked on Saturday but left work early. I went home, got ready and headed out to Steve's again. We then went to Sherwood park for a bbq that one of his friends was having. I drank way to much beer there. Well only three but thats way to much for me. Anyways we were all sitting around on lawn chairs and I was reading the tag off of Steve's chair. It said the maximum weight for the chair was 225lbs. I was reading this out loud and Steve then looks at me and say well your almost at your limit. I almost decked him. He knew I was pissed off and tried to back out of it but it didn't work. The words I'm joking didn't come out of his mouth. Now I knew he was but still. I was pissed off. Whatever though. I let it go. The rest of the night though he was just a jerk. I was not very happy with him. So we leave this bbq and head back to his apartment with his friends from out of town. They decide they still want to go out so we walk across the street to this little divey bar. They had karakoke so it was okay. Still pissed off at Steve though.
So on Sunday we get up and start to get ready to go to the farm. We took my car out there as it has all its windows and a stereo. We stop off in Spruce Grove for Steve to pick up some stuff that he needs to take out to the farm and then head out to the farm. We are leaving the house in Spruce Grove and he asks me to lock the door for him as his hands were full. I say sure. Its just one of those turn the doorknob jobbies. Anyways I lock the door and shut it when he looks at me. He forgot the keys in the house. My car keys and his house keys. We were stuck and had no way in. So I laugh and he's all pissy. We eventually break a window open by busting one of the locks. I crawled in and we got the keys and left.
Now Steve is cranky, I'm still slightly annoyed with him for the night before and we have an hours drive ahead of us. Turns out it wasn't that bad. Steves mood seemed to lighten up as we got out there. The farm is a pretty cool place. I got to see all the bulls and cows. We went and checked out the horses. There were way to many people there. I hate crowds and I would say there were at least forty adults there plus all their small children. It was a lot of people.
Really good food though and lots of it. His family seems pretty nice for the most part. A little odd but who's isn't really. We came back Sunday night and I went back to my house Monday morning. The easter bunny left chocolate on my pillow. I was happy. So on Monday I hauled my comforter out to the couch in the basement, brought my chocolate to the coffee table, got myself some pop, and popped in a few movies. I sat there all day. It was fantastic. It was nice to not have anyone around for awhile.
Anyways that was my weekend. I'm not annoyed with Steve anymore. I think I still need to talk to him but he knows I think he was being incredibly rude towards me that Saturday night.
I don't like this snow. Its rather annoying and gross. Its the middle of April for petessake. No more snow. I want sun.
Oh just so you people know. I don't think that those dates that you people choose to go camping for are going to work for me. One of the other girls has already reserved that time period in August for her vacation. I have to double check that to be absolutly sure but I'm pretty positive.
Thats about it for now.
